We are pleased to announce that our Christmas Concert will be December 14, at Goshen Mennonite Church 7 pm. We will have a dress rehearsal December 13. We will provide more details soon.

We plan to meet for rehearsals at Goshen Mennonite Church, located at 8410 Brink Road, in Laytonsville (your GPS may prefer you call it Gaithersburg instead of Laytonsville).

Audition requirements are the same as past years (solo and scales of your choosing) except no sight reading. Please send in your audition via an unlisted youtube link, to my email address emilycoile@gmail.com  by September 14.

We are planning on having band this school year, but online this semester.  Hopefully next semester we will be able to rent the schools for in-person rehearsals.

Although we are not yet allowed to reserve indoor space in the MCPS facilities, we hope that will be possible soon. Meanwhile, we are working to find a way to serve the band community this school year.

Sadly, KCYBP rehearsals and concert for next week and next month are cancelled due to the Chinese virus that has spread throughout our planet.

We hope and pray that everyone is staying well during this disruptive period, and that this whole event might lead more people to Christ.

Due to the coronovirus, MCPS has closed the schools for most of this month. Therefore, we are cancelling rehearsals 3/17 and 3/24. We hope to be able to resume rehearsals on 3/31 but will provide an update as this situation evolves.

We hope to see you all again very soon to finish out this season together, but for now it is best to not meet.

Meanwhile, some of our music is available on SmartMusic for healthy students to practice!
